On March 22 and 23, 2022, the INTERVET WB 3rd Transnational Meeting took place at the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.
Our INTERVET Western Balkans project is a three-year pilot project for the Internationalisation of vocational education and training systems in the Western Balkans, started in December 2019. The project aims at creating opportunities for learning mobility in the training centres of Western Balkans and improving the culture of learning mobility in the field of VET.
On the first day, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia introduced the main activities and welcomed the participants and project partners from Western Balkans countries and European partners. The Uniser team presented the state of play of the project and quality evaluation of the previous month of activities.
After the break, project partner focused on improving the mobilities. During this session, we worked in groups on a variety of topics, such as how to boost communication among INTERVET sending and hosting partners, how to improve the collection of information about participants health in order to organize safe mobilities and how to increase the number of project stakeholders. The last workshop group was focused on designing a strategy to increase gender-equality in learners mobilities.
In the two-days meeting, the partners also evaluated the working groups and the activities done in the previous months and move to the new platform for the digitalisation of mobility project management. INTERVET WB ultimate objective is also to improve the level of technical skills and life skills for our students and other people involved beyond the education system.
The meeting gave the participants a chance to visit a VET school for hospitality and tourism and exchange a few words with students and teachers. At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed the next steps of the project and were given their certificates of attendance.
