EuMove coordination meeting in Coimbra to shape the final phase of the project
On September 29th and 30th 2026, the partners of EuMove – Enhancing mobility schemes to empower and prevent NEETs held their third coordination meeting in Coimbra, Portugal hosted by the Instituto de Apoio à Criança (IAC).
EuMove is a 24-month European project participated by Uniser (IT) Associación Mundus (Spain) Mondego Mobility (Portugal) Open Formazione (Italy), CFP Valle de Tena (Spain) and IAC (Portugal) and Learning Digital (Italy). The project aims to make learning mobility accessible to NEETs with vulnerable backgrounds, who are rarely reached by traditional mobility programmes. The partnership pairs a hosting organisation with a sending organisation in each country.

The project has reached its final phase. 28 pilot mobilities have been carried out in Spain, Portugal and Italy and the partners are now turning what they learned into final results. In particular, they will revise the working methodology and toolkit to manage mobility as well as process to issue Microcredentials and a catalogue of those.
Learning from the pilot mobilities, a workshop reviewed the methodology and toolkit in light of the testing. The partners agreed that reaching vulnerable young people requires a careful balance between the vulnerability and the autonomy to live and work abroad. The partners also stressed how much group building, accompanying persons and regular contact with participants contribute to keeping young people engaged. Learning Digital also presented the results of testing the microcredentials: 64 Microcredentials were created and issued 166 times.

The partners also addressed the topic of final reporting requirements from the funding authority. A brainstorming session laid the groundwork for the “lessons learned” document that will have to be submitted as well with the final report.
Finally, national dissemination events will take place in Italy, Spain and Portugal between November and early December. Each will combine a presentation of the project with a training session based on the materials developed by the project to engage stakeholders in future mobility activities which might benefit vulnerable young people. The partners will invite former participants to share their experience.
