Students and teachers from six countries successfully completed training within the DC-VET WB project

Training for teachers and students within the DC-VET WB project was held in Durres and Tirana (Albania) from 15 to 19 September 2025. The program brought together participants and teachers from the countries of the region, as well as representatives from Finland, Italy and Spain, ensuring the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices at the international level.

This event was preceded by a series of online activities, in which participants were divided into three groups: for programming, developing technical solutions in the field of green economy, and improving soft skills. Students and teachers from the Secondary School of Economics “Mirko Vešović” were part of the soft skills development group, together with peers from Kosovo and Finland. The first online meetings allowed students to present the uniqueness of their countries, and an expert lecture done by Jasna Pejović from Digital Bee, highlighted the importance of continuous development of soft skills.

As part of the training in Durres, students improved previously prepared business plans and presented them to their teams. A team competition was also organized. During their stay in Albania, the participants visited Tirana, where they met with teachers of secondary vocational schools at the European House, where the achieved project results were presented. The teachers exchanged experiences from participation in EU projects and discussed possibilities for future cooperation. The meeting was an excellent opportunity for networking and additional connections between educational institutions from the region.

The training in Durres and Tirana provided students and teachers with valuable opportunities to improve professional and entrepreneurial skills through practical work and exchange of experience with international partners.
